A partner at the Law Offices of Schuchman & Marshall, Katherine C. Aldin is a 2003 graduate
of the acclaimed Juris Doctorate program at Pepperdine University School of Law, member of the
prestigious Order of the Coif. During her tenure at Pepperdine, Ms. Aldin was elected to
represent the university at the International Moot Court Competition. She was also designated
as delegate to the Pepperdine London Program in the United Kingdom.
Ms. Aldin received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California at
Riverside, with study at the world-renowned Oxford University at Wellington Square in Oxford, England.
Ms. Aldin has done Pro Bono work for the Family Law Information Center and Family Law Facilitator's
Office at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in the Central District of Los Angeles Superior Court, where she has also
volunteered for the Domestic Violence Project. In addition, Ms. Aldin has extended her time and expertise to the
Neighborhood Legal Services, a non-profit organization for the benefit of low-income litigants.
Ms. Aldin is an active member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Ms. Aldin has been published in multiple publications with California Real Estate Publishers.
Ms. Aldin has now been twice selected by a peer review group for publication and recognition in the Rising Stars
edition of Souther California SuperLawyers, featured in Los Angeles Magazine and Law and Politic Magazine.
Ms. Aldin's practice has been strictly focused on all issues of family law litigation and mediation, including
child custody and visitation, spousal support, child support, business valuation, property characterization, move-away
cases, pre- and post-nuptial agreements and judgment enforcement.
Prior to joining the Law Offices of Schuchman & Marshall in 2005, Ms. Aldin was an associate attorney with the Law Offices of Reape-Rickett in Valencia, California.
